The mission of Laviosa’s Research & Development unit is to study, and gain more knowledge about, our core business, bentonite, in order to guarantee the constant development of its various sectors of application, the search for new products and new sources, as well as the assessment of possible new developments in areas that are still unknown.


The ultimate objective of the Research & Development unit is therefore the use of advanced production processes to develop innovative materials with high added value at low cost and with total respect for the environment.
Our decision to work on continuously improving and developing our products is further confirmed by the ISO 9001 certification of our processes.
